Cooking Classes and Culinary Tours with Chef Zadi and Friends

I will be giving seasonal cooking classes and culinary tours in Mediterranean countries. I also have a growing network of friends in the business who offer similar services.

I am a Chef Instructor at The California School of Culinary Arts, Le Cordon Bleu Program in Pasadena, California. I have extensive experience teaching the professional and novice student. I have taught at Sur La Table, Whole Foods Market, Central Market, and elementary school children through the LAUSD's Nutrition Network.

I've taught students from all over the world, from all walks of life with a wide range of needs and skill levels. Whether you are a total beginner or seasoned cook or professional looking to hone your skills further I have classes to suit your needs.

Our first stop in France is Lyon and the Beaujolais. I was born in Lyon and grew up in Montmerle. I will take you to visit local growers, farmer's markets and to visit local chefs and their restaurants. You will get a very intimate, palpable sense of French food and culture.

Cooking classes are conducted in English or French and will consist of hands-on and demonstration classes. Guests cook with the finest ingredients found in local markets, meats, poultry, fresh produce, breads and cheeses. Recipes are geared towards the homecook (special classes can be designed for professionals wishing to improve their techniques). Of course we eat the delicious food we prepare!
